Barcelona are believed to be on the brink of securing a loan move to sign Manchester United reject Marcus Rashford – with the option to buy.
The most-recent development in this tale comes via reliable ‘source Whisperer’ David Ornstein at the Athletic, who is confident Rashford would be well placed to get a move to Barcelona.
Barcelona “have made an approach through intermediaries to loan Rashford next season and the offer includes an option to buy,” according to Ornstein.
He notes that this is “not yet a done deal” but then adds that “talks between all sides are now in the final stages.”
It’s no secret Rashford or his representatives have had their hearts set on a move to Barcelona for some time, and Hansi Flick and Deco have both publicly claimed they like the forward.
Both Nico Williams and Luis Diaz were targets for the Catalans throughout the summer, and now with finances still a problem, it appears Rashford could join at Camp Nou.
