According to a report from Tz journalists Philipp Kessler and Hanna Raif (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is at the forefront of the transfer talks with Liverpool FC for Luis Diaz:
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is leading the talks with Liverpool for Luis Díaz. Bayern are planning a new offer. The player wants the move.
Perhaps it's a fair question to ask if Bayern Munich has too many cooks in the transfer kitchen these days. Dreesen and Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Max Eberl, Christoph Freund and also Vincent Kompany have called each other at some point in the past few weeks to talk about transfers.
Would Bayern Munich be better off a little less top heavy?
Luis Diaz’s Liverpool FC career and Bayern Munich’s sporting director Max Eberl could be intertwined if the transfer happens. Meanwhile, has the rest of the Bundesliga had enough of being bullied by Bayern Munich and is the league bleeding talent? Both Paul Wanner and Lennart Karl also could see some looks during preseason action...is the kid talented enough to make good on those opportunities? And finally, Florian Wirtz’s father talks over how the decision to move to Liverpool panned out and you can listen to how HBO fucked BPW this week.
